This is War

2 Corinthians 10:4

Spiritual battles require tools which are not physical.
Weapons of faith, prayer, truth, righteousness, and most importantly the power of God.

This Scripture is a reminder that believers fight not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces, and that victory comes through divine strength.

Zechariah 4:6, says;but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.”
“Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:
Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of host.

This message was given to Zerubbabel the leader of the Israelite’s returning from exile, who were facing opposition and discouragement while rebuilding the temple..
However, this message also applies to believers, so we will know that, apart from God we can do nothing,

1 Samuel 15:23, which states, “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry”.

In chapters 10-13 of 2 Corinthians, Paul defends his apostolic authority against critics who judged him by worldly standards.
He contrasts spiritual power with earthly appearances and powers, reminds the church that true strength lies in God’s authority, not human charisma or manipulation of man.

Meaning; it is not about a special kind of charm or magnetism that makes people feel drawn to someone.
It’s not just about being good-looking or loud it’s about how someone makes others feel when they speak, act, or simply walk into a room.
This principle applies to believers today, as we war with demonic spirits.

We are to rely on the Holy Spirit to accomplish God’s work rather than our own abilities.
