The Light That Made Shadows Run

October 15, 2025

By Mary Aaron

He stood where silence dared not speak, A robe of white, a heart unique.

With eyes that pierced the veil of night, He raised His hand and there was light.

The devil turned with shriek and flame,

No longer bold, no longer tame.

He fled the truth he could not bear, For holiness had filled the air.

The people rose with voices strong,

Their hearts alight with sacred song.

No chains remained, no fear could stay,

For Jesus Christ had chased the dark away.

So let this scene forever be, A glimpse of love that sets us free.

When evil runs and hope stands tall, The Lamb of God has won it all.
