What an awesome time to be alive.
We are witnessing historic spiritual times as God positions us to see His hand move mightily upon the earth.
Sure, Jesus had his Apostles, Ministers, and Disciples during the time He walked this earth, and they did the work.
However, this is our time now, our hour, to introduce people to Jesus Christ and bring them to salvation.
As His Children, Christians, and His servants, we have a chance and opportunity to witness to others like never before.
Some people come to me asking questions about the events that we see happening right now. This is not what I said to them; however, this is what I said to the group.
The story of Moses and Pharaoh is a reminder of who we serve.
The Lord said in Exodus 14:4,
“And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will pursue them. But I will gain glory for Myself through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I Am the LORD.”
God chooses carefully who He will use for a specific purpose.
And Pharaoh was chosen to reveal His Glory.
Through Pharaoh’s hardened heart and rebellion, all would see that the king of man has no power or authority over the King of Kings, who is our Lord, our God.
God’s Sovereign Choice
Romans 9
V14. What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all!
V15. For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”
V16. It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.
V17. For Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”
V18. Therefore, God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden. NIV
