Isaiah 40:1
V1. Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.
V2. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her
that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for,
that she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.
V3. A voice of one calling: “In the wilderness prepare the way for the Lord;
make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
V4. Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low;
The rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain.
V5. And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together.
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

V6. The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry?
All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:
V7. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the Spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.
V8. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
Isaiah 40:10 says;
See, the Sovereign Lord comes with power; He rules with a mighty arm.
Is there anything that God does not see?
Is there anything that He has not considered?
Is there anything that God does not know?
God’s Word is His bond.
