A Talk With God
Have you talked to God lately?
Have you talked to God and told Him how you feel?
Have you talked to God and expressed to Him why you
are hurting?
Can you be honest and tell Him you feel defeated?
Can you be honest and tell Him you are tired?
Can you be honest and say that your smile is a frown turned upside down?
Can you be honest long enough to stop pretending that everything is alright?
Can you talk to God and tell Him that you feel as if you are loosing this fight?
Talk to God and give Him a chance to tell you,
That the battle is not won by your might.
The battle is not won by your power.
The battle is won by His Spirit, so in this battle, you don’t need to fight.
Talk to God so He can tell you, “I have seen your pain and frustration.
I have seen your smile in pretense, all the while your heart was breaking.
I put a smile on your face to let you know that through Me, you will make it.
Because I Am Your God, and you can not be defeated.
I Am Your God, so you can trust Me
I Am Your God, and I want you to know I have more for
You than what you are seeing, so hold on and watch Me open that door.”
